TRIVIA:

Wendy Fulton is married to The A-Team's Dwight Schultz. On the subject of The A-Team, William Lucking was a semi regular in that series' first season as the Team's nemesis Colonel Lynch.

M.C. Gainey also appears in the fourth season episode Out of the Woods, which is also written by Gregory S. Dinallo.

At the beginning of this episode, Bonnie discovers seaweed under K.I.T.T.'s hood. When she confronts Michael about it, it transpires that he pursued some thieves at the marina into the sea! K.I.T.T. would later gain the ability to drive on water in the episode Return to Cadiz. The only time we actually see K.I.T.T. underwater is in the reunion movie Knight Rider 2000 (although he's in the form of Michael's Chevy at the time).

SCRIPT TO SCREEN:

One of the very first scripts for the series, this story went through many changes before it hit the air. Corey was originally female, and there was another member of the security team: Tip Maguire, whose role was later cut entirely.

K.I.T.T. was outfitted with a video camera that would cover 180 degrees, but this idea was presumably dropped since he already had similar capabilities from the very first episode. He also shows signs of jealousy when Michael is forced to drive another car for the sake of the mission.
