Tony Dow starred in the popular sitcom Leave it to Beaver, which Michael mentioned a few months earlier in the episode A Nice, Indecent Little Town. Actress Angel Tompkins returns in the second season episode Custom K.I.T.T.
Writer David Braff went on to work with David Hasselhoff as a writer and producer on Baywatch.
SCRIPT TO SCREEN:
Elliot Stevens is described as "a hip, curly haired, electronic wunderkind... Attired in jeans, open shirt, and corduroy sport jacket, Stevens is the embodiment of the youthful entrepreneurs who have led the surge in high tech growth." Julian was envisioned as "pushing thirty years of age... [he] has the harried look of a man who has begun to lose control of his life."
