TRIVIA:

K.I.T.T. complains about the names of rock bands -- Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden; if K.I.T.T. were to name a band, he'd choose something with value, like "Truth, Justice and the American Way." Devon suggests "The Foundation for Law and Government."

K.I.T.T. also turns teacher in this segment, showing the young truant Billy that history and physics can be fun.

After Soltis' bomb blows in his trunk, K.I.T.T. states that they'll "never get the smell out of the upholstery."

Joe LaDue previously appeared in the second season story MERCHANTS OF DEATH.

SCRIPT TO SCREEN:

The Macroplex corporation was originally named Megatron. Michael states in the script that it sounds like "a Masters of the Universe toy;" he was close -- Megatron was actually the name of one of the toy Transformers. In the episode, he says that Macroplex sounds "like an exercise machine."

Richard Okie's script describes Soltis as "an immaculately turned-out continental type." Devon tells Michael that Soltis is "the most wanted man in the world."
