TRIVIA:

Guest star Tim O'Connor on Brother's Keeper: "I remember Ed [Mulhare] was terrible with his lines on the set. He asked me if I could cure him. Well, I said I would try, and I did try, but I couldn't cure him!" O'Connor played state official Phillip Hunt here, and previously co-starred in the first season of Glen Larson's Buck Rogers in the Twenty-Fifth Century.

Gerald Gordon lost 9-pounds in two days while filming his chase sequence for this episode. The sequence was filmed 8 times.

K.I.T.T. briefly changes his license plate in this episode, from KNIGHT to KNI 667.

Fred Lerner previously appeared in the episode FORGET ME NOT. Fitzhugh G. Houston also made an appearance in the first season episode JUST MY BILL.

Robert Bralver (Alex) was the show's original stunt co-ordinator and went on to direct several episodes.

SCRIPT TO SCREEN:

A number of scenes failed to make the final cut: K.I.T.T. performs a comprehensive review of famous partnerships in crime, and comes to the conclusion that he and Michael resemble Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. More references likening Michael and K.I.T.T. to the famous bandits can be found in later episodes, notably KNIGHT IN DISGRACE.

At the episode's conclusion, Devon originally confronted Phillip Hunt about his betrayal of Michael and the Foundation, forcing Hunt to cancel a press conference he'd arranged.

A scene in which McCord tries to explain to Lisa what happened the night of her mother's murder was also cut.
